The Luz Y Mar is located in a quieter part of Puerto del Carmen approximately 600 metres from the sea front, close to the centre, the beaches and the area known as the old town where the harbour is situated. The old town has some of the best bars and restaurants in the resort and gets very lively at weekends when the locals join the tourists around the central square.
The Post Office, petrol station and a medical centre are close to the Luz Y Mar, as are some local shops including a supermarket. The Bayesfera shopping centre featuring well known brands like Mango, Zara and Jack Jones, as well as bars, restaurants and children's play areas is a few minutes walk from the apartments, making it ideally situated.
